1. Age: Drivers must be 18
years of age or older. Those under 18 year of age must
have parents or guardians written consent.
2. Obvious or excessive
consumption of alcoholic beverages will be grounds for
disqualification
3. Drivers must follow proper
safety guidelines: Drivers must be firmly seated at all
times, no bouncing permitted. Drivers must have at least
one hand on steering wheel. Feet must be in general
vicinity of clutch and brakes at all times.
4. All tractors must be
equipped for the year and model or factory replacement.
A/C W/C can use D-17 engine, John Deere can use power
blocks. No block spacer plate. Standard RPM for the
model of tractor. NO FUEL MIXTURES. Seat must be in
original position.
5. Tire size 15.4-38, a
maximum of 14” rims. Standard can go to old 14-34 or
16.9-34. NO RADIAL TIRES.
6. Up to 1938 models or
older must have serial number than can be easily read.
7. All tractors can pull in
any gear. (Not to exceed 3.5 mph, if tractor exceeds 3.5
mph after 1st 100 ft, pull will be disqualified.)
8. Minimum drawbar length 18
inches from center of real axle to point of hook,
measured horizontally. Drawbar to be stationary in all
directions. Maximum height 20 inches from top hitching
point parallel to ground. Hitching hook on sled must fit
freely in hooking device on tractor, no obstruction of
chain or hook. Hitch hole to be 3” and ¾” material
minimum.
9. Weights must be securely
fastened. Can be transferred from front to back. If
ANYTHING falls off, the tractor will be disqualified.
10. Front weights can go no
more than 11 ft. from center of rear axle.
11. Can add weight up to
your class.
12. Serial numbers will be
checked, RPM may be checked, pullers responsibility.
Drawbars and weights will be checked.
13. No vice grips will be
used on throttle linkage.
14. No one allowed on track
but officials and puller. No riders on tractors, on
track.
15. No crawlers or dual
wheels.
16. All tractors may be
checked after pull.
17. Contact point of tractor
and sled must remain in bounds at all times. Out of
bounds will result in disqualification. No measurement
will be taken following a disqualification.
18. All pulls will be made
and measured on footage basis in each weight class.
19. No locked rear ends.
20. Two attempts to start
sled while on track. If not, tractor will be eliminated.
If tractor is stopped within first 50’, the puller is
entitled to his second attempt.
21. OFFICERS DECISION IS
FINAL.
22. Classes: 3250, 3500,
4500, 5500, 6500, 7500, 8500, & steel wheel (no hook
charge for steel wheels.)
23. Tip over bars are
required, no wheels allowed on tip over bars.
24. All tractors can pull
once in each class.
25. $10 Hook Fee. 1st
through 3rd place = trophies, 4th through 6th place &
steel wheel = belt buckles.
